North Ireland, Egypt, trans-Jordan, Syria, and Palestine fought on the side of the allies because they were all under the rule of the British.

Explanation:

The British had their control over Palestine, Syria, the trans-Jordanian region, Egypt, and North Ireland. They not only used their prowess to fetch wealth and available resources from these regions.

But also forced the countries under their rule to participate in the war on the sides of their allies.
