x^3 is a perfect cube
64 is a perfect cube (since 64 = 4^3)
When I say "perfect cube" I mean it can be written in the form A^3 where "A" is a placeholder for a number or variable expression (such as x)

Since we have two cubes and we're adding them, we have a sum of cubes
