one mole of CuSO4 contains one mole of Cu2+.

One mole of any substance contains Avogadro's number of ions.
Therefore, number of ions of Cu2+ can be calculated as follows:
number of ions = number of moles * Avogadro's number
number of ions = 1 * 6.02 * 10^23 = 6.02 * 10^23 ions
