HP = JP (since the opposite sides of an isosceles triangle are equal)
3x - 6 = x + 2
2x = 8
x = 4

Thus, HP = 3(4) - 6 = 12 - 6 = 6
JP = 4 + 2 = 6
JH = 2(4) = 8.
