It depends. If a mother has time and can afford to go to work then why not. But some mothers tend to stay home and raise their kids, wait till they are older and then go to work like their husband/wife. But mothers that are alone have to find a way to make money for their kids. When at work they have to employ a babysitter or ask a family member to watch her kids.
