If F(x) = -3x-2 , what is F(-5)

A, F(-5)=13. To show work, substitute the x in F(x) = -3x-2 with -5 to get F(-5) = -3(-5)-2. Then, following PEMDAS, multiply -3 and -5 first to get 15. So, you are left with F(-5)=15-2. 15-2=13.
