Therefore the equation of the line is

     x= 6

The equation of line which is parallel to the above line is

x= a .........(1)

Since the line passes through the point (6,2) . Then the point will be satisfy the equation of line .

∴6 = a    [ putting x =6  and y = 2 in equation  (1)]
