How does a universal genetic code relate to the hypotheses about the origin of life on Earth?

DNA is the only component of gene transfer and certain characters posibibla without it life could not exist, is a unique, individual, then all life is erected, a general genetic code is represented in some related characters, but it leaves him, he is based in any development in any life form it is present
