Two oxygens are shared. When two atoms of oxygen are shared with adjacent tetrahedrons they are forming a single chain structure and minerals with this kind of structure are having olivine. For example pyroxenes, minerals of this group are having XY wich X, for example, can be magnesium or iron and the Y can be titanium or aluminum.
