Line is Passing through the Points (-3 , -1) and (-5 , 4)

Slope of a Line Passing through two points (x₁ , y₁) and (x₂ , y₂) is given by :

[tex]\heartsuit\;Slope(m) = \frac{y_1 - y_2}{x_1 - x_2}[/tex]

here x₁ = -3 and x₂ = -5 and y₁ = -1 and y₂ = 4

[tex]\heartsuit\;Slope(m) = \frac{-1 - 4}{-3 + 5} = \frac{-5}{2}[/tex]
