These are all division problems.

1)   9 ÷ [tex]\frac{3}{4}[/tex]

= [tex]\frac{9}{1} * \frac{4}{3} = \frac{9(4)}{3}= 3(4) = 12[/tex]

3)   [tex]3\frac{1}{2} = \frac{2(3) + 1}{2} = \frac{7}{2}[/tex]

7 ÷ [tex]\frac{7}{2}[/tex]

= [tex]\frac{7}{1} * \frac{2}{7} = \frac{7(2)}{2}= 7[/tex]

5)   6 ÷ [tex]\frac{1}{8}[/tex]

= [tex]\frac{6}{1} * \frac{8}{1} = 6(8) = 48[/tex]
