So first you would find a common denominator between all 3 fractions (1/4, 1/2, 1/8) The common denominator is 8, so you would change the fractions to the equivalent fraction of something over 8. (2/8, 4/8, 1/8) Then add the numerators and that is your answer of 7/8.
