The protagonist is usually the main character of the story. The story revolves around them. The antagonist, antagonizes, or is the main obstacle of the protagonist. The antagonist is usually what the plot is about.

Simply: the protagonist is the good guy and the antagonist is the enemy

Example:Harry Potter is a protagonist and Voldemort is the antagonist.
